A process of obtaining a dry cold current of air from ice, and its different applications
A short technical pamphlet by John C. Schooley, printed in Cincinnati in 1855, explaining his patented method of drawing dry cold air from ice for refrigerating rooms, meat and produce, addressed to packers, physicians and prospective licensees. Wood-engraved sections and plans show cabinets, shelved chambers, ice lofts and arrowed air currents, plus a faint pencil sketch, offering hatched cutaway diagrams and airflow notation.
