A catalogue of the mechanical curiosities collected by Nicolas Grollier de Servière, published in Paris by Charles-Antoine Jombert in 1751 for engineers, mathematicians and collectors of machines. Copperplate engravings show timber-framed hoists, water wheels, gear trains, pile drivers and saw mechanisms in lettered elevations, offering cross-braced frame structures, toothed wheels and fine hatched line work for pattern and diagram use.
