A Russian edition of Camille Flammarion's popular astronomy, published in 1900 for general readers wanting an illustrated account of the sky. The plates are wood-engraved telescopic views and diagrams printed white on solid black — comet spectra, banded Jupiter, dense star fields in circular frames, and orbital paths labelled in Cyrillic — useful as reversed-out line art, dot textures and schematic curves.
