A visitation of the county of Kent
A printed heraldic visitation of Kent begun in 1663-68 under Sir Edward Bysshe, published in London in 1906 for genealogists and antiquaries tracing county families. The 148 line cuts are outlined shields with quartered fields, crests, and tincture letters marking colours, giving designers clean uncoloured armorial forms: griffins, lions, dragons, chevrons, lozenges and spearheads ready for recolouring.
