A 1916 trade catalogue and how-to manual issued by Acme White Lead and Color Works of Detroit for house painters, contractors and homeowners buying paints, enamels, stains and varnishes. Illustrations are color-printed product portraits: lidded tin pails and cans with wire bail handles, ruled engraved bands, and red-and-yellow oval labels carrying banner logos and small-type directions, usable as ready-made packaging and lettering models.
