1926 · 6 pictures

Amazing Stories for November 1926, the American pulp monthly Hugo Gernsback edited in New York to reprint and publish scientific fiction for a popular readership, here carrying stories by Verne, Wells, Murray Leinster and A. Hyatt Verrill. Each story opens with a full-page Frank R. Paul pen drawing under hand-lettered display titles, using dense parallel hatching and open white skies: giant insects and webs, a balloon basket, beast-men in a clearing, ant swarms and saucers over mountains.
