Archaeological pamphlets
A bound set of archaeological pamphlets from about 1880, the kind of survey reporting issued to learned societies, combining field measurements with sketches of ruined masonry sites. The plates mix hard-line ground plans and section diagrams with dense pen-and-ink landscapes of canyon walls, cliff-set stone rooms, standing slabs and rubble walls, offering designers survey lettering, hatched rock texture and small ruin vignettes that can be lifted singly.
