Giuocatore di magia del Cavalier Bosco
An Italian handbook of conjuring and card tricks credited to the nineteenth-century stage magician Bartolomeo Bosco, issued in a cheap 1913 popular edition for amateur performers and parlour audiences. The wood-engraved cuts combine diagrams of fanned and dealt playing cards, a card-and-letter cipher grid, and small scenes of a conjuror at his table before onlookers, useful for card faces, instructional layouts, and period costume figures in coarse, high-contrast line.
