Bing Optische Spielwaaren und Lehrmittel (1902)
A German trade catalogue of optical toys and teaching apparatus issued by Gebrüder Bing of Nuremberg around 1902-04 for retailers and schools ordering magic lanterns, projectors and viewing boxes. The plates are small wood-engraved product cuts, numbered and captioned in German, showing lacquered tin lanterns, chimneys, lens barrels and hinged cases modelled in dense hatching against cast shadows, with occasional ornamental script nameplates like "EOS" and "Phänomen".
