Catalog of garden furniture, arbors, pergolas, gateways, trellises, fences, etc.
A 1920 trade catalogue issued by the Mathews Manufacturing Co. to sell wooden garden structures—arbors, pergolas, gateways, trellises, fences and seats—to homeowners, landscape gardeners and builders. The plates are halftone photographs of white-painted and stained woodwork set in planted yards, with lattice grids, arched openings, turned posts and slatted benches shown in receding one-point views; useful for lattice and picket patterns, silhouette shapes of garden frames, and grainy grey-scale garden backdrops.
