A 1922 technical handbook on church lighting compiled by A.L. Powell for General Electric's Edison Lamp Works, addressed to architects, engineers and building committees fitting electric fixtures into sanctuaries. Halftone photographs show nave and chancel interiors from the rear gallery, with pendant lanterns, timber trusses, pointed arches, organ pipes and long ranks of pews, useful for grainy architectural backdrops and fixture silhouettes.
