Description of stoves, furnaces, bath tubs, garden vases and ventilators
A trade catalogue of cast-iron goods issued by the J.L. Mott Iron Works of New York for builders, dealers, and householders buying stoves, furnaces, bathtubs, garden vases, and ventilators. The wood engravings show each appliance in three-quarter view with hatched shading on curved iron bodies, hinged doors and drop shelves open, and raised ornament in acanthus, rosette, and diamond panels — useful as isolated object cuts, decorative cast-iron motifs, and engraved shading references.
