Egyptian magic
A study of amulets, spells, names and funerary rites in ancient Egypt by British Museum keeper E. A. Wallis Budge, published in London in 1901 for general readers and students of religion. Line redrawings after papyri and tomb scenes show Anubis, the human-headed ba bird over a mummy, offering tables and opening-of-the-mouth tools, with ruled borders and captions usable as flat silhouettes.
