Eighteenth year: Steel Roofing and Stamping Works
A 1913 trade catalogue from the Steel Roofing and Stamping Works, issued in its eighteenth year to builders, contractors and sheet-metal dealers who installed pressed tin ceilings. Halftone photographs show stamped panels, filler plates, mouldings and cornices in raking light, so acanthus scrolls, rosettes, banded circles and small repeating bead-and-square grounds read as relief pattern usable as tileable textures, border strips and ornament silhouettes.
