Keep's test for cast-iron : a description of the routine to be pursued by those using this method of testing

W[illiam] J[ohn] Keep · 1893 · 27 pictures

A short technical manual by William J. Keep, published in 1893 for American foundrymen, metallurgists and engineers who tested cast iron by measuring the deflection and shrinkage of cast test bars. The plates are small line engravings of benches, molds, gauges and clamped test bars drawn in perspective with dense hatched shading, alongside flat measured diagrams carrying rulers, numbered scales and section hatching.
