Keramic studio
Keramic Studio was a monthly design periodical started in 1899 by Anna B. Leonard and Adelaide Alsop Robineau in Syracuse, New York, supplying working patterns to china painters and pottery decorators, most of them women. The plates are flat two- and three-tone ornament laid out for circular plates, tiles and borders — conventionalized roses, berries, leaves and fish worked into radial and repeating schemes, with construction lines and segment studies often shown alongside the finished design.
