Keramic studio
Keramic Studio was a monthly magazine for china painters and pottery decorators, edited by Adelaide Alsop Robineau and Anna B. Leonard and published in Syracuse, New York from 1899 for studio craftswomen and ceramic teachers. The plates are flat two- and three-tone design schemes — stylized flowers, seed pods and scrolling stems fitted to vase silhouettes, plate rims, tile squares and running borders — giving designers ready-made Art Nouveau motifs already reduced to silhouette and usable as repeats or frames.
