Liesegang Janus Epidiaskop

Ed. Liesegang · 1910 · 12 pictures

A German sales catalogue for the Janus Epidiaskop, a combined slide and opaque projector made by Ed. Liesegang of Düsseldorf about 1910, addressed to teachers, lecturers, engineers and club audiences. Captioned pen-and-ink scenes (Abb. 3, 4, 8) show the machine on its table and rows of seated backs and profiles facing a lit screen bearing a butterfly, a caricature or a technical drawing, printed in warm yellow-brown; useful for figure groups seen from behind, projected-image motifs and period equipment silhouettes.
