Lighting of the food industries / Information compiled by W.H. Rademacher.
A 1922 trade booklet from the Edison Lamp Works of General Electric, compiled by W. H. Rademacher, advising food-plant owners and engineers on electric lighting levels for mills, bakeries and packing rooms. The halftone photographs show flour mills, roller stands, sifters and grading machinery lit by bare bulbs and shaded reflectors, giving designers grainy industrial interiors with strong overhead light sources, sacks and barrels, and long diagonal chutes and ductwork.
