The weaver's assistant : explaining in a familiar manner the first principles of the art of weaving ... with an appendix containing several useful tables
A short practical manual on the principles of weaving by Philo Blakeman, printed by N.L. Skinner in Bridgeport, Connecticut, in 1818 for handloom weavers and apprentices. The scanned pages show letterpress numeric tables ruled into grids, a manuscript ownership signature in brown ink, torn and water-stained paper edges, and blank endpapers — useful as aged paper textures, rule-and-number grids, and period type fragments.
