Des Neu-erfundenen Weber Kunst- und Bild-Buchs
A weaver's pattern book issued by Nathanael Lumscher in Germany in 1727, supplying loom drafts to linen and damask weavers working from squared paper. The plates are black-and-white grid patterns—stepped diamonds, checkerboard blocks, interlocking rings and plaids—each with a numbered thread scale down one edge, giving designers ready-made modular repeats and pixel-built geometry at printable contrast.
