An annual instruction and pattern manual issued in 1896 by the Nonotuck Silk Company of Florence, Massachusetts, to sell its embroidery silks to home needleworkers. The plates are engraved and line-block patterns: scalloped doily borders with trailing flower sprays, single large blossoms on curling stems, and white-on-black reversed designs, all usable as circular frames, corner sprigs, and repeat borders.
