Model Buch : Teil 1.-2
A two-part pattern book of embroidery and lace designs published by the Nuremberg print dealer Paul Fürst around 1660, sold to needleworkers and to craftsmen who copied ornament. The numbered plates are gridded counted-thread charts printed as dense black-on-white squares: tulips, pomegranates, carnations, scrolling vines, birds and beasts, plus reciprocal border strips and geometric reticella fillings that read directly as pixel grids, halftone textures or repeat tiles.
