New products manufactured by Farbwerke vorm. Meister Lucius & Brüning, Hoechst on the Main, Germany.
A dye manufacturer's sample book of printed and dyed cotton swatches, issued around 1900 by H. A. Metz & Co. of Boston as American agent for Farbwerke Hoechst, for textile printers and mill buyers judging new synthetic colors. The plates are mounted fabric pieces and cut strips on plain card, most of them indigo and navy grounds carrying white or red discs, ringed dots, and small scattered spots, usable as flat repeating patterns, color pairings, and dyed-cloth textures.
