A 1916 trade catalogue issued by the Manchester Iron Works to sell architectural, structural and ornamental iron and steel to builders, architects and contractors. Line engravings show railing and fence panels in elevation, with scroll, twisted-bar and plain picket patterns, hatched masonry piers and hand-lettered maker's names, useful as repeatable fence motifs, border rules and grille patterns.
