Daulat-i dārain Urdū tarjumah kanz al-ḥusain
An Urdu handbook of talismans and charms by the geomancer Ghulam Husain Rammal, lithographed in Lahore about 1900 by Malik Din Muhammad and Sons for practitioners and buyers of amulet lore. The pages mix numeric magic squares, ruled tables, looping talismanic letter-forms and serpentine calligraphic arcs with simple outline figures of embracing couples, giving designers grid diagrams, occult sigils and naive woodcut-style line drawings.
