A 1907 trade catalogue issued by the Canada Foundry Company of Toronto to show engineers, contractors and municipal buyers the range of machinery it cast and built. Halftone photographs and retouched product views isolate boilers, generator sets, gas engines with open flywheels, hoists and wheeled steam plant against blank grounds, giving clean cut-out silhouettes of riveted plate, bolt flanges and spoked wheels for collage and technical ornament.
