Semi-indirect lighting with a new unit practical for any purpose : that is more efficient than any other lighting unit on the market
A 1920 trade catalogue from the Luminous Unit Co. of St. Louis, issued to architects, electrical contractors and dealers specifying semi-indirect electric fixtures. The plates are airbrushed and pencil-shaded renderings of glass bowl pendants, ceiling canopies, chains and wall brackets on soft vignetted grounds, giving designers crisp silhouettes, dentil and swag ornament, and a range of shading textures for grey-scale product illustration.
