A 1921 trade manual on ship lighting compiled by R.W. Peden and issued by General Electric's Edison Lamp Works for naval architects, marine engineers and outfitters specifying fixtures aboard passenger vessels. Halftone photographs show dining saloons, smoking rooms, lounges and corridors lit by coffered ceiling panels, pendant lanterns and wall brackets, offering period interior layouts, fixture silhouettes and patterned floor and ceiling grids.
