Nikola Tesla Hugo Gernsback · 1919 · 6 pictures

A gathering of Nikola Tesla's writings, including the serialized "My Inventions," from Hugo Gernsback's New York popular-science monthly The Electrical Experimenter in 1919, aimed at amateur experimenters and radio hobbyists. The plates are painted magazine covers with heavy block letterpress mastheads and cover lines: deep-sea fish with searchlight beams on blue, a red skeleton figure on black, biplanes trailing smoke, Tesla seated with a glowing lamp.
