The lighting of armories and gymnasiums / information compiled by A.L. Powell and A.B. Oday.
A 1920 technical pamphlet from General Electric's Edison Lamp Works, compiled by A.L. Powell and A.B. Oday, advising architects, engineers and building managers on lighting drill halls and gymnasiums. The plates are coarse-screen halftones of empty interiors at night, showing pendant lamps flaring into halos and radiating streaks beneath steel trusses, arched roofs and running-track balconies — useful for grainy monochrome texture, light-bloom effects and industrial roof framing.
