The lighting of office buildings and drafting rooms / information compiled by A.L. Powell.
A 1920 lighting-practice pamphlet issued by the Edison Lamp Works of General Electric, compiled by A. L. Powell for architects, engineers, and building managers specifying fixtures for offices and drafting rooms. The halftone photographs show empty American workrooms at night: rows of drafting tables under pendant lamps, desks with typewriters and lamp shades, pressed-tin ceilings and tall sash windows, useful for period interior reference, furniture silhouettes, and grainy grey tonal backgrounds.
