Verne Seconde Patrie II ( 1900)
Volume two of Jules Verne's Seconde Patrie, a French adventure novel of 1900 continuing Wyss's Swiss Family Robinson, issued in Paris by Hetzel for a general reading public and illustrated by George Roux. The plates are tonal wood engravings of small figures crossing boulder fields below a sharp volcanic peak, plus marbled board endpapers and plain laid paper usable as backgrounds.
