Warming and ventilating for public buildings, schools, halls, stores, dwellings, etc.
A trade catalogue issued in 1887 by the Geo. H. Hess Co. of the Hess Stove Works, selling heating and ventilating stoves to builders, school boards and shopkeepers. The wood engravings show cast-iron cylinder stoves in cutaway, with labelled combustion chambers, radiating pipes and ash pits, plus perforated door grilles, mica panels and cast ornament useful as industrial pattern detail.
