Weird Tales v12 n01 [1928-07]
An issue of the American pulp magazine Weird Tales, published in Chicago in July 1928 for newsstand readers of horror and fantasy fiction, with story illustrations signed HR (Hugh Rankin). Soft lithographic-crayon and crosshatch drawings pair hand-lettered story titles with quoted captions, showing looming faces, robed figures, and cowled monsters emerging from smudged darkness.
