Weird Tales, Vol. 15, No. 2 (February 1930)

1930 · 5 pictures

The February 1930 issue of Weird Tales, the Chicago pulp magazine of horror and fantasy fiction edited by Farnsworth Wright, sold monthly on American newsstands. Story headings by Hugh Rankin combine hand-lettered titles with crayon-and-ink scenes — a cowled figure facing a fanged fish in space, a man crawling in blood beneath a horned onlooker, a screaming victim tangled in spiked foliage — plus back-page ads with engraved hands and coupon layouts.
