A compilation from the Lincoln Financial Foundation Collection on Abraham Lincoln's face and dress, gathering nineteenth-century photographs and later halftone copies for researchers and Lincoln collectors. The plates are high-contrast black-and-white bust and standing portraits, including Brady studio work, showing beards, frock coats, bow ties and wing collars against plain dark grounds, useful for period likenesses, coarse halftone texture and vignette edges.
