An excavation report on the site of Abydos, compiled by W. M. Flinders Petrie with Ayrton and Currelly and issued in 1902 for the subscribers and scholars of the Egypt Exploration Fund. The plates are stark ink drawings of broken inscribed stone: hieroglyphic stelae, royal cartouches, wing and bird signs, and vessel marks, usable as clean silhouette glyphs and fragment outlines.
