Ridolfino Venuti's topographical survey of Rome's antiquities, printed in Rome in 1763 by Bernabò and Lazzarini for antiquarians and Grand Tour travellers, with plates etched after Jean Barbault and Jérôme Charles Bellicard. The 105 small etchings show ruined temples, aqueducts, arches and hillside views with staffage figures, framed by captioned borders and plate numbers useful as vignettes, headers or map-like scene fillers.
