Ridolfino Venuti's topographical guide to the antiquities of Rome, printed in Rome in 1763 by Bernabò and Lazzarini for antiquarians and Grand Tour travellers, with plates etched by Jean Barbault and Jérôme Charles Bellicard. The etchings are small landscape-format views of ruins, bridges, arches and river banks, thinly hatched with pale skies and captioned in Italian below; useful for architectural fragments, arcade and vault profiles, and figures scaled against masonry.
