An anthology of Italian printmaking issued in Bologna in 1922 by Cesare Ratta with Raffaello Biordi and Alfredo Petrucci, gathering etchings, aquatints, drypoints and mezzotints by 150 artists for printers, collectors and art students. The plates favour hill towns, farmhouses, cypresses and shorelines, ranging from bare outline etching to dense tonal blacks, useful for line textures, silhouetted foliage and grainy night skies.
