A 1910 University of Illinois thesis by Zelda Maude Ayres counting and classifying the advertisements printed in The Tatler, submitted as student research in advertising history. The plates are hand-drawn line charts in black and red ink on pale green printed graph paper, with typewritten keys running up the margins, offering grid textures, jagged plotted lines and sideways caption blocks.
