Advertising; the social and economic problem
A 1915 treatise by George French, published by the Ronald Press in New York, arguing the social and economic case for advertising to an audience of agency men and business readers. The scanned plates are mostly reproduced trade advertisements — line-cut and halftone blocks with display typesetting — caught against cream page margins and red cloth binding edges, useful for period ad layouts, screen-dot texture and plain paper backgrounds.
