Aedes Walpolianae: or, a description of the collection of pictures at Houghton-Hall in Norfolk, the seat of the Right Honourable Sir Robert Walpole, Earl of Orford
Horace Walpole's catalogue of his father Robert Walpole's picture collection at Houghton Hall, printed in London in 1752 for collectors, connoisseurs and visitors to the Norfolk house. The engraved plates are architectural ground plans with hatched and solid wall poinch, colonnades, stairs and curved wings, labelled in italic script — useful for diagram texture, floorplan motifs and engraved lettering.
