Aerial age
Aerial Age, an American aviation trade weekly issued in New York in 1922 for pilots, manufacturers, and the aircraft industry. The plates are coarse-screen halftone photographs — biplanes on grass fields, officers inspecting machines, shop machinery and close-ups of engine and propeller assemblies — useful for period aircraft silhouettes, industrial texture, and the grainy grey tonality of early press photography.
