The Aeroplane
A British weekly aviation trade journal begun in 1911 and issued in London by Temple Press for aircraft makers, pilots and the flying trade. Coarse-screen halftone photographs show biplanes on grass, seaplanes on floats, and fuselages under construction in hangars, often cropped against columns of advertising type — useful for early airframe silhouettes, wire-and-strut geometry and grainy period photo texture.
