The Aeroplane; the international air transport journal
A weekly British aviation trade journal published in London from 1911, written for aircraft manufacturers, engineers, service pilots and the air transport business. Halftone photographs show biplanes, seaplanes and flying boats banking against blank sky, set into advertisement pages built from heavy rules, inline and shadowed capitals and small corner ornaments — useful for period aviation imagery and trade-press typography.
