Air service journal
A weekly American aviation trade periodical published by Gardner Moffat in New York during 1917, written for military fliers, engine and airframe manufacturers, and Signal Corps officers. The scanned pages are dense two- and three-column letterpress text broken by stacked all-capital headlines, small italic subheads, and halftone photographs of biplanes, engines and airfields; useful for period newspaper typography, headline hierarchies, and grainy early aircraft imagery.
