Air service journal
A weekly aviation trade periodical published by the Gardner-Moffat Company in New York from 1917, addressed to military airmen, aeronautical engineers and the aircraft industry during and just after the First World War. Pages carry halftone portraits of officers and manufacturers, photographs of aircraft and equipment, and dense three-column newsprint under large display mastheads useful as period type and layout reference.
