Airship Andy, or, The luck of a brave boy
A boys' adventure novel about early aviation, issued under the Stratemeyer Syndicate pen name Frank V. Webster by Cupples & Leon of New York in 1911 for juvenile readers. The five pen-and-ink plates, each captioned with a line of dialogue and a page reference, show a pilot banking a biplane over racing rivals, men handling a moored dirigible, and a farm boy watching the sky, giving designers cross-hatched cloud and landscape textures plus period aircraft silhouettes.
